It is with sorrow that we receive the news that Mrs Sadie Rutledge, one of the last remaining founder members of Carryduff parish, passed away in recent days. Sadie’s husband Cecil died in 2021 and, since then, she has lived with her daughter Evelyn in Banbridge. She has been a frequent visitor to events held in St Andrew’s in the years since, and she will be buried there with her husband.

The service of Thanksgiving for her life will DV be held in St Ignatius’ Carryduff on Thursday 2nd January at 11:00 am. For further details see funeraltimes.com.
