A Surprise Visit from Bishop Leo Paul from Pakistan

Bishop Leo and wife Sadaf, arrived in Ireland on the 12th June for a two week visit to the Diocese of Down and Dromore.

Bishop Leo Paul leads the Diocese of Multan, Pakistan and oversees 75 parishes. His Diocese is 200km x 500km and includes 2 deserts. Many of the parishes are in a rural setting with a low economic status and poor educational provision.

The Diocese has a number of private Anglican schools and dispensaries.
Sadaf, his wife, is very active in women’s ministry within the Diocese of Multan and she is keen to share about this work.

Bishop Leo and his wife will be with us at Drumbeg Parish on Sunday evening 16th June for a Mission Focus Service of the Word from 6.30pm to 7.45pm. Bishop Leo will share the story of life in the Diocese of Multan, give opportunity for questions and will inform us of how we can best pray for the Gospel ministries of Multan Diocese.
I hope to see a good crowd joining us from Drumbeg Parish, the surrounding Parishes of the Dufferin Area Deanery and across the Diocese of Down and Dromore. This visit to Down and Dromore formally marks the beginning of a new Mission Relationship between Down and Dromore and the Diocese of Multan.

Rev’d Willie Nixon.
