Remember Food Donation: Sunday 5 November

It is LARDER FOODBANK WEEK!!

The very generous people of our parishes gather their resources to help with a community resource in Belfast at St Christopher’s, and a FoodBank in Ballynahinch.

Killaney’s gifts go to Ballynahinch, Carryduff’s to Belfast. Non-perishable items are the best to give as they enable the group in Ballynahinch to support families and individuals through rough times, while the system in St Christopher’s is one of selling goods at a reasonable rate in order to help build self-esteem as well as generate some income for other community support work.

The first Sunday of each month is the day we gather the gifts at our churches, and you are encourgaed to set aside a few items each month if you are (still) in a position to do so. Thank you.
