Larder Sunday and Foodbank Sunday

We want to help people who are finding this winter season difficult or nearly impossible. With prices rising in just about every shop in every sector any help offered is appreciated.

Our churches support Ballynahinch Foodbank (from the parishioners of Killaney) and The Larder at St Christopher’s (from the parishioners of Carryduff).

On the first Sunday of each month kind people bring a few items or even whole bags of shipping to church and they are delivered in the next two days to the two locations.

Non-perishable foods and household items are donated and shared with people in particular need – using two different systems of distribution – and it is our privilege to help.

This Sunday – 4th December – is collection day this month.
