  1. Sad that they must go indeed. For a tree is not just a tree, a single entity, but a home to many invertebrates, a nest sight for birds and possibly even squirrels. They clean the air of global warming carbon dioxide and release beneficial water and oxygen back into the atmosphere. Yes they can be hazardous if too big and too close to our habitation but they are a resource we need to carefully and effectively manage.
