The extension of the lockdown announced on Thursday afternoon past, 18/2/2021, is a reminder that our community is still at risk of collapsing because of the pandemic.
To hear Donna or Paul – on the various TV news outlets – inform us of more daily deaths, and the stubbornly large number of people still on ventilation in our hospital ICUs, is a depressng focus for our thoughts and prayers.
Our previous decisions to hold back from resuming in-person services for further weeks seems wise as a result.
Vestries will be meeting in March to discuss when to resume either in-person or drive-in worship on a regular basis. We will give you news following the two vestry meetings.
